Programs and Service Projects Committee
Programs and projects are the heart of chapter meetings. They reflect the interests and needs of the chapter, while fulfilling the purposes of the Society. The role of the Programs and Service Projects Committee is to help chapters identify and develop programs and projects that educate and inspire members, enhance quality education, serve the community, and promote the Society. Committee members are available to provide ideas, suggestions, and support to chapters in the TSO community.

Spotlight on Programs and Service Projects for 2019-2020
This summer, the TSO leadership team reviewed the feedback received during the last biennium, regarding programs and service projects and has made some positive changes. Specifically, all TSO chapters are invited to share or “spotlight” either a specific program or service project it has completed. Each chapter will be asked to fill out a short form about one of their programs or service projects and include a photo of the event. All forms received, will be published in a format that will be accessible for all chapters to review. The hope is that this will become a great resource, going forward, for the future planning of programs and projects. This year,
many chapters will also be asked to share their program or service project during the Programs and Service Projects breakout sessions at the McAllen Convention.
Please note that the form is currently being developed and Chapter Presidents will be notified, once it becomes available.
