Personal and Professional Enrichment Committee
The goal of the Personal & Professional Enrichment Committee is to promote two of the Society’s purposes: 6) to stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action; and 7) to inform the members of current economic, social, political, and educational issues so that they may participate effectively in a world society. The committee develops the workshops and continuing Professional Education presentations at the Alpha State Convention each year. It selects the presenters, schedules the times of the workshops, provides for check in and evaluation of each workshop, and issues certificates of completion for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit. In addition, the committee encourages members to offer chapter programs, area workshop programs, and special events that meet the guidelines to receive CPE hours.
