educational excellence committee
The Texas State Organization First Vice-President serves as the chair of the Texas Educational Excellence Committee. The members of the committee are the chairs of the Global Awareness, Legislation, Music, Personal and Professional Enrichment, Programs and Service Projects, Research, and Women in the Arts committees. The EE committee coordinates the work of these committees in order to fulfill the Society's Mission and Purposes.
Formerly known as the Program of Work Committee, the Constitution and International Standing Rules assigns state and chapter organizations to address the work of this committee as described in Article VIII, Sec C1 of the Constitution.
The Society international in the EE Committees' area lists international goals and resources for the current biennium. In addition, each TSO component EE committee has information available on the TSO website. International Educational Excellence Committee
Chapters are encouraged to develop programs and projects that appeal to their members' interests and needs. The TSO Educational Excellence Committee and its component committees are ready to assist members and chapters promote programs and projects for excellence in education.
