strategic plan of action (spa) committee
In 2017 TSO developed a 10-year strategic plan of action. Goals were developed for state improvement in the areas of membership development, leadership development, communication and publicity and organizational effectiveness. The plan was implemented, assessed and revised in 2022.
The Strategic Plan of Action (SPA) Committee is tasked with the responsibility for monitoring, reviewing, evaluating and updating the progress of the plan. The person or committee directly involved with each objective of the plan is contacted to check on their understanding and progress. Reports are given to the state president and the TSO Executive Committee on a yearly basis. Chapters are encouraged to create their own plan, but are not required to do so.
